01 / GOOD PROMOTIONS · OPERATIONS SYSTEMS

Making the work
work better.

An operating workflow that connects creative intake, approvals, quality checks, and production delivery.

MY ROLE

Creative operations lead · Workflow implementer · SOP owner & trainer

FOCUS

Process improvement · Team enablement · Quality control

THE CHALLENGE

More work needs
more clarity.

High-volume creative production depends on many people making the right handoff. Requests, revisions, approvals, files, and production details all need to stay connected as a job moves through the business.

At Good Promotions, I coordinate an average of 30 active client projects per week across five departments and 13 vendor partners. The challenge was to make that work more visible and repeatable while helping the team handle greater capacity.

MY CONTRIBUTION

Build the operating
standards around the work.

I implemented and refined Printavo and Connecteam workflows, standardized job visibility, and documented how work should move from intake to delivery.

  • Intake and ownership: clarify requirements, readiness, priorities, and responsibilities before creative work begins.
  • Approval controls: track proofs, revisions, decisions, and final approval so production uses the right information.
  • Quality and handoffs: define proof checks, file standards, production readiness, and escalation paths.
  • Team adoption: create an Art Department SOP, onboarding guides, and practical training.
  • Asset management: maintain naming, version, and archive standards across a Dropbox library of more than one million art files.

THE RESULT

More capacity.
A shared way of working.

10–15 → 40–50approximate weekly job capacity

The workflow improvements, operating standards, training, and quality controls helped increase weekly job capacity from approximately 10–15 to 40–50 jobs.

I also led up to four designers at one time and trained more than ten artists overall. The lasting contribution is a documented way to work: clearer expectations, visible progress, consistent approval records, and more reliable production handoffs.

Capacity figures describe the broader workflow improvement effort at Good Promotions.

WHAT THIS DEMONSTRATES

Operations experience
that translates.

Cross-functional coordination, process documentation, change adoption, capacity planning, and quality management—grounded in the realities of daily delivery.
